Sorry I missed last week. I'm technically still on vacation, but WTF, you still get a linky-loo out of me. I've been pretty news-deprived sitting on a beach for a week and a half, so returning to civilization (and a stack of newspapers) everything seems kinda like this. Sit tight. It takes a little time to load.

Oh, and thanks Lee Gardner for this little news story.

Enjoy!

This is generally how I spend my non-Thursday evenings. Welcome to my world. Here's another.

Enjoy!

As I may have to travel to "The Southland" again this Thursday, here is an early linkey-loo submission . I guess that this counts as on-line karaoke! Come on, get the rest of your office mates to join you in a chorus or two. Michael Murphy? Wasn't he a list member who got the boot? What does it all mean?!?

Enjoy!

I'm sure that everyone is getting linked to this one, but I refuse to have my thunder stolen as I saw this weeks ago!!! It was in the linkey-loo hopper. You'll need QuickTime (free) and your speakers on.

And in the continuing California recall saga, I give you a star Democrat that we all know and love.

Does this really count as a linkey-loo? Why not? And while we're at it, how about this?

As I've mentioned several times in the past, I'm not the type that's too political. But DAMN if I don't like a good show tune. And speaking of politics, how about that recall? From the large field of gubernatorial choices, I spy one many of us know and used to work with - a one Dan Feinstein. Nicely positioned alphabetically above Larry Flint! Go Dan!!!

The following Linkey-loo was submitted by esteemed list member Serena Warner (so we better see her out tonight). The record industry has been doing it for years. Now you can too.
Rock on.

Well, I spent a good deal of time in school. College was the "5 Year Plan". Granted it was a California State College in the 80's, so it wasn't ridiculously expensive - just foggy. Now for those folks who are in the UC system, I'm glad when I see the fruits of the expensive education that their parents are footing the bill for!

And for those who get a degree from "University of the Asphalt", I give you this.

Busy. Being a product of catholic education, I have a would normally have a whole lot to say. Enjoy.

And not to be missed on their 5-day, 5-venue SF stand.

In our ever expanding effort to keep the minds of you revelers sharp, please take this week's TNSC Pop Quiz.

And since I'm so heavily into the "IM" scene (that's instant messenger to you internet neophytes), I found this. Not the stuff my conversations are made of, but it is PRETTY funny.

Give someone bad bluegrass and some rudimentary flash skills, and this had to happen.

Oh, and for you single guys, there is this personal. She forgot to add "no kids".

This link is brought to you by TNSC member Mary Haring. With her 4.0 GPA and 3 jobs she's holding down, it's no wonder that we never see her anymore. I'm sure that summer vacation will free her up a bit. We wish her well in getting out of Mt. Tamalpias High School. Who let a minor into the club?!?

In other news, the 3 submissions for the same website (from Julie, Tama, and Serena), now seems to be up again for your linking pleasure.

Well, I received 3 submissions for the same website (from Julie, Tama, and Serena), but, low and behold, when I tried the link today, it was no longer working. For some reason, people love to see felines dressed up. That aside, lovely and talented list member Kyra Ivanoff submits this for your viewing pleasure.

I love flash...

Guess what. I'm in LA again this week. I think Fleetwood Mac is from LA. Not originally, but I believe that they made this their home base at some point in their illustrious career. Stevie Nicks is from Phoenix, AZ...just like a TNSC founding member and a few associates, to boot. Lot's of people like Stevie Nicks. I don't. Not for anything personal, I'm just not a fan. I do know one person who is though. And if you're anything like her, she's got a deal for you!! I don't usually plug commercial ventures, but you gotta see this!!

And for you musicians, get a hold of one of these!!

See y'all next week.
