As the summer blockbuster season is among us and big-budget Visual Effects will splash across (and out of) theater screens across the country, remember that just about any one-legged Mexican monkey with a computer and some spare time can do this stuff nowadays. I sometimes long for the time when Visual Effects took lots of planning and were executed like this.
Those were times when one ordered a Martini, it would generally be served on the rocks.
