This week's Linkey-loo™ is dedicated to TNSC founding member Tuesday McGowan, who left us a few years ago to get the ball rolling for TNSC Midwest. Even though she is busy organizing boozeheads there, and directing and designing television commercials 24/7 as her "day job", she still has time for her first passion: music. You can check out her band, "(in)camera". Be sure to give a listen to out their "sounds" section of the website, as well as the "news" link, to see what they're up to.

**Note the official neckwear of Thursday nights!!

And for you "younger" kids out there (like Lee), here is a fond remembrance of your after-school cartoons. (It takes a while to download.) Needless to say, it's disturbing.

Finally, if any of you are bored this weekend, the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival is going on in Golden Gate Park. Where else can one see The Knitters, Ralph Stanley, Doc Watson, Rosanne Cash, and DOLLY PARTON, all in one place, and all FREE?!?!

First off, please scroll down to last week's Linkey Loo posting. Though I was chillin' on vacation, if that is possible in Palm Springs, I still managed to steal enough wireless signal off of the hotel office so as to be able to generate a Linkey-Loo for y'all. The only downside was that when I went to publish it, "Blogger" was out of commission, and it didn't make it up to the site in time. That said, here is the little song that I sang to myself each day of vacation. Yes, it does take a bit of time to load, but it does also have MONKIES!!!

Yaaayyy!!! I'm on vacation in Palm Springs. It's 100+ degrees (112 on Sunday, a record), but weather aside, much here reminds me of San Francisco. There is even a place called "Hamburger Mary's". It's a chain restaurant that has no relation to our original SOMA/Maui institutions that have unfortunately gone by the wayside. It is neat and tidy, and painted in bright, bold, primary colors and expensive art on the walls. There are no baby bottle creamers on the table, no wheat bread and there is even one in Sacramento. There are also many rainbow flags proudly displayed around town. Which got me thinking about this week's Linkey-Loo.

See you guys next week.

I was never into "magick", or any of that other mumbo-jumbo that would allow one a view into one's future. First off, I never believed it, and secondly....I really don't want to know. I'd rather have my future be a surprise to me. Just like I want each Thursday night to be a surprise to me. But I just found something that may make me change my mind. At any rate, I know a few things that are in my future tonght: sweet, sweet beer, and some good times with great friends.

This submission comes to us courtesy of our newest list member, Don Campbell. I think I've seen this one before...but it's still funny. And just when you think you've seen it all, along comes Tyler the dog. You'll need a Windows Media Player for this one.

My job is getting easier and easier. Tama, the person that put the Porn in "Porn Robot" give's us this stimulating link.

And TNSC/Toronto member Chris Hamilton brings us this friendly reminder.

While were at it, here is a dumb Easter link just in time for this holy season. Or should I say "Ho"- ly season?

In response to last month's "March Madness" in the sports world, the linkey loo robot brings you "naked hoops". This RULES!!

And while we're at it (and I'm sure you've ALL seen this recently) I bring you the pimp name generator!

Yo!

Well now, it's been quite some time since I pinch-hit for the Linkey-Loo Robot, but the time has come again.

This is perhaps one of the more curious websites I've seen lately. Try not to stare at the front page too long, as it might trigger an epileptic seizure. I ain't got epilepsy, but I siezed up and passed out. When I woke I thought I was a pig: CLIK THIS LINK.

Submit a link, lunkheads: Here's a dopey link.

Yours ever in gastric distress,

I'm going to let you in on a little secret - my favorite website. This is actually a monthly magazine out of Denver, and might as well have been written by TNSC founding member, Josh Johnson.
.
Check all of the various sections. Especially this one: know your bartender. Scroll down to find John Metsker's type!! The archives are also pretty deep, and hilarious.

While I'm at it, here's another dumb flash animation.

Since this is a new year, I figure that everyone should have a new calendar/clock. Enjoy!! Also, not to beat a dead horse, but here are two political sites. One informative. One irreverent. My Republican friends, please don't hold it against me!!

I'm neither pro-Democrat or anti-Republican (well, maybe I am), but judging for a website from across the pond, someone else might be! Check out the buttons on the bottom. Be sure to check out the "Bush Wordifier!!" **Apple SAFARI browser users may notice some oddities**
PTOW robot is back in full force!! Keep it up! TNSC Robot, get your ass in gear! My work here is done.

Happy New Year kids!!! This next link has to be great as two different TNSC members (Lee G and Chris H - both who will not be attending tonight) submitted it for your pleasure. Be sure to scroll down. There is some funny shit.

Welcome to 2K4!

Since I'm not in the spirit of Xmas yet (and I really trying), here is a cute little linkey-loo to keep you occupied for hours. Remind me to watch where I dine next time! And if that isn't enough, PTOW mistress Tama Bough gives you the following link: be sure to click on "Barney Reloaded". These are YOUR tax dollars hard at work. And make sure NOT to be duped by the "other" government agency at The Whitehouse , though that is EXACTLY what one would expect from the porn robot!

Happy Holidays, kids!

So I see that the number of submissions for church signs using the patented "church sign generator" is at an all time low!! Zero. Zilch. Nada. What gives?!? I bust my ass week after week searching out entertaining websites and this is what I get in return? You're all getting coal in your cocktail glasses this Christmas! If you are so inclined, grab a JPEG of your own personal church sign and attach it to an email to: the omnipotent Linkey-Loo Robot. Prizes will be forthcoming.

Meanwhile, vent your frustrations on this little number! Don't miss the "Manic Mode"!

Repent, sinners!!! Check out this collection of church signs !! Join in the Linkey-Loo contest for the "best church sign". Use the "church sign generator" and make one of your own. Grab a JPEG of it and attach it to an email to: the omnipotent Linkey-Loo Robot
A jury of atheist judges will choose the best and the winner will be "baptized" in a most unconventional way.

Enjoy!

Okay, here is a timely linkey-loo for all of our ESC members sent to me from John McCrea of Cake fame. He is a man with a conscience. This one is from one who's is in question. I hope PTOW robot takes note!!

Sorry I missed last week. I'm technically still on vacation, but WTF, you still get a linky-loo out of me. I've been pretty news-deprived sitting on a beach for a week and a half, so returning to civilization (and a stack of newspapers) everything seems kinda like this. Sit tight. It takes a little time to load.

Oh, and thanks Lee Gardner for this little news story.

Enjoy!

As I may have to travel to "The Southland" again this Thursday, here is an early linkey-loo submission . I guess that this counts as on-line karaoke! Come on, get the rest of your office mates to join you in a chorus or two. Michael Murphy? Wasn't he a list member who got the boot? What does it all mean?!?

Enjoy!

I'm sure that everyone is getting linked to this one, but I refuse to have my thunder stolen as I saw this weeks ago!!! It was in the linkey-loo hopper. You'll need QuickTime (free) and your speakers on.

And in the continuing California recall saga, I give you a star Democrat that we all know and love.

As I've mentioned several times in the past, I'm not the type that's too political. But DAMN if I don't like a good show tune. And speaking of politics, how about that recall? From the large field of gubernatorial choices, I spy one many of us know and used to work with - a one Dan Feinstein. Nicely positioned alphabetically above Larry Flint! Go Dan!!!

The following Linkey-loo was submitted by esteemed list member Serena Warner (so we better see her out tonight). The record industry has been doing it for years. Now you can too.
Rock on.
